Dear friends and family:
It is with deep regret that I am announcing the retirement of santa.ratty, Postmaster of the North Pole… I have been considering retirement for a few years now but it is a very, very hard thing for my brain to stop doing once the holiday season begins. Santa letter stories are popping into my head ALL of the time, LOL! I suppose that the main reason for finally letting myself say “No more” is that every Christmas santa.ratty’s crafty little self struggles to finish all of her holiday projects and gifts, which makes for a sad and stressed-out rat 🙁 And this year there are a few extra reasons:
— Because of fewer technicians at my place of work, it is getting harder and harder to get the vacation time I need to work on Santa Letters.
— My family is in the process of planning a wedding reception for my beautiful daughter 🙂
— I need to save MASSIVE QUANTITIES of dollar bills to go on a multi-family vacation to Ireland in 2016, woohoo!
— My little old house HATES me and wants fixing every time I turn around, which makes saving MASSIVE QUANTITIES of dollar bills very difficult, LOL!
So. With all that said…, I will miss you ALL and I greatly treasure the many years I have spent watching your children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews grow up! Thank you SO much for enjoying my stories and for all of your kind messages and photos throughout the years, I’ve loved them ALL!
